How to reach Procchio and Residence Napoleon:

Our residence is situated in Procchio, one of the touristic villages on the norhtern coast of the island of Elba. Arriving at Portoferraio, please follow the direction of Procchio. The village is at only 12 Km.
Then follow the direction for Marina di Campo, after 500 mt you will find the residence entrance on your right. Once arrived please present yourself at the reception where one of our secretaries will bring you to your apartment and show you all the services of our residence.
We would like to remember you that the arrival hours are from 17:00 until 20:00 hours on the arrival day and that we ask to leave the apartment before 10:00 hours on the departure day.

How to reach Elba Island:

By car: Car ferries leave Piombino almost hourly for Portoferraio in the summer season. There are also a couple of daily ferries for Porto Azzurro and Rio Marina The main shipping companies are the Toremar and Mobylines. The crossing Piombino-Portoferraio takes one hour.
Recently a new "fast" boat carrying a limited number of cars is in service. A hydrofoil service (no cars) takes 40 minutes.

From the North: From Milano take the A1 motorway, change to the A15 at Parma Ovest to join the A12 Genova-Livorno exit later at Rosignano. Continue on dual-carriageway as far as right-hand sign to " Venturina/Isola d'Elba". Continue on the main road until you reach Piombino Marittima/Portoferraio.

From the Nord-Est: Take the A1 motorway Bologna-Firenze-Pisa-Livorno exit later at Rosignano and continue as above.
Alternatively: take the S.G.C.( not a motorway but a very good road) Firenze-Pisa-Livorno, exit at Firenze Signa and follow the main road as far as Collesalvetti. At Collesalvetti re-join the motorway and exit at Rosignano, then dual carriageway as above down to Piombino.

From the Sud: Take the A12 Roma-Grosseto, continue on the main road "the Aurelia": exit at Venturina-Isola d'Elba then follow as above for Piombino.

By plane: The airport is located in La Pila, approx. 3 km from Marina di Campo. Information at the website www.elbafly.it

By train: The train station of Piombino Marittima is 50 meters far to the ferries departures.( see www.trenitalia.it)
